Sounio

Sounio is one of the archeological sites closest to Athens. In Sounio you will visit the Temple of Poseidon, the God of the Sea.

From there, people were able to control which ships where arriving and / or leaving from Athens. Actually, a perfect isosceles triangle among the temples of Poseidon (Sounion), Aphaea (Aegina) and Hephaestus (Center of Athens) is formed.
